F-22’s

If these are truly stealth, they won’t have an active radar system and will instead rely on ground and air based radar platforms to find and eliminate targets, if they turn on their radars they will potentially be detectable, they’ll rely on the radars of every other thing in the battlespace.

Assess targetting capabilities, how they acquire targets, if they break stealth in order to do so, at what points they are detectable, and as counter would recommend SU-30’s with the AWACS killing missile, they they will be limited to visual range cannon fire engagements, heat seaking missiles, and bombing.

They could also be used as platforms for longer ranged BVR radar guided missiles in conjunction with guidance and targetting provided from a nearby AWACS perhaps.

Recommend finding out truth of this by conducting joint military exercises while National is in power.

Later note:

They definitely have onboard radar, I would be curious as to whether this is their achilles heel.

Perhaps the best method of defeating F-22’s would be to destroy any and all targets ie Patriot missile batteries, ground based radars, AWACS, Aegis missile cruisers, that can relay target information to them, as once they turn on their radars I feel confident they will be targettable and destroyable.

Would love to fly one, beautiful aircraft, although I do think that Sukhoi’s would be more fun due to maneuvorability.
